2 months and going strong!

Lu just hit 2 months and she's doing great! Time has really flown. I'm planning on going back to work at the beginning of December and Lucy will be coming with me. I'm excited for her to get to be around the kids. We are heading up to Federal Way for Thanksgiving with my Mom and Dad and Grandparents which should be a lot of fun! Lucy will get to meet her Great-Grandma Bev and Great-Grandpa Russ! We've gone to a couple high school soccer games this past week to hangout with some of our Young Life kids. Lu had a blast. Soccer is definitely her favorite sport so far! I read a verse this week that I really want to live out in my life and pass on to Lu for hers. John 14:27 says, "I am leaving you with a gift - peace of mind and heart. And the Peace I give is a gift the world cannot give. So don't be troubled or afraid." We are so blessed to have little Lu!

So we're starting this blog to keep everyone updated on what's going on with us, especially now that we just had our baby girl! Lucy Julianne was born September 18th at 8:09pm measuring 20 inches and weighing 6 lbs. 1 oz. We are so happy that she is finally here and have been loving the new addition to our family. For those of you who know our little hound Cooper, we were a tad nervous about how he was going to react but he has been awesome with her which we are thrilled about! Besides Lu, everything is pretty much the same! We've been living in Portland for the past couple years and just bought our first home this summer. Jordan is working away as a welder and I'm nannying. We are still volunteering with Young Life and are having a blast doing it. We feel so blessed and are so excited to see what God has for us next!
